Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels * Purpose: To foster a love of music and help students develop their musical abilities * Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their progress and growth in music education * Purpose: To encourage continuous improvement and development in musical skills * Prepare students for music events, performances, and competitions to showcase their talents * Purpose: To provide opportunities for students to gain performance experience and build confidence * Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to develop curriculum and ensure the overall success of the music program * Purpose: To create a cohesive and comprehensive music education program for students Qualifications: * The position is as a General Contractor * US Work Authorization * Teaching experience 2+ years * Education level: A Bachelor's degree or graduation from a two-year college music program is preferred but not required * Detail-oriented skills * Bilingual preferred * Musical proficiency * Your schedule is flexible (Weekdays 3pm-8pm), and will be willing to work Saturdays 8am-4pm * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle * Proficient in teaching multiple instruments * Bilingual: Spanish and English is preferred About Company Texas School of Music is a multicultural music school serving the Houston area.
